Privacy Policy

Last updated June 25, 2026

Reyn ("Reyn," "we," "us," or "our") is a home-management service that helps homeowners and the real-estate professionals who serve them keep a living record of a property. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Reyn is operated by HouseOS, Inc., a Delaware corporation.

By creating an account or using Reyn, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Your name, email address, role (homeowner, agent, or broker), and authentication credentials managed through our identity provider.
  • Property information. Home address, property characteristics, systems and appliances, maintenance records, photos, and any notes you add to your home record.
  • Documents you upload. Inspection reports, closing paperwork, contracts, warranties, receipts, and similar files. These documents, and the text extracted from them, can contain names, home addresses, financial figures (such as purchase price or appraised value), and inspection findings about the condition of a property.
  • Relationship information. For agents and brokers, the connections between you and the homeowners you serve.
  • Usage and device data. Basic technical information such as log data, approximate location derived from your address entries, and interactions with the product, used to operate and improve the service.

How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and personalize the Reyn service.
  • To extract structured data from the documents you upload (for example, turning an inspection PDF into actionable items) and to generate summaries, briefs, and recommendations.
  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To send transactional email such as sign-in links, briefs, and digests.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the service.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

AI processing of your documents

A core part of Reyn uses artificial intelligence to read the documents you upload and turn them into structured information. To do this, the text we extract from your documents (which, as noted above, can include names, home addresses, financial figures, and inspection findings) is sent to the following AI sub-processors for analysis:

  • Anthropic (Claude). Used to extract and summarize information from documents and to power conversational and brief-generation features.
  • Groq. Used to run language models that parse inspection reports and generate structured output.

We send these providers only the content needed to perform the requested task. We do not sell your information, and we do not use your private documents to train Reyn's own models. Each provider processes the data under its own terms and applicable data protection commitments.

Service providers and sub-processors

We rely on a small number of trusted third parties to run Reyn. Each receives only the information needed to perform its function:

  • Supabase. Application hosting, database, file storage, and user authentication. Your account data, property records, and uploaded files are stored here.
  • Anthropic (Claude) and Groq. AI processing of document text, as described above.
  • Resend. Delivery of transactional email (sign-in links, briefs, and digests).
  • Google Maps. Address autocomplete and validation when you enter a property address.
  • RentCast and ATTOM Data. Property-records providers we query with a home address to retrieve public property characteristics (such as year built, size, and sale history).

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account information, property records, uploaded documents, and the data extracted from them for as long as your account is active, so the information remains available to you. Documents and their extracted data live in your account until you delete them or close your account.

You can delete specific records from within the app, and you can permanently delete your entire account and associated data at any time from Settings → Privacy. You can also download a copy of your data from the same screen. If you prefer, you can ask us to do either by contacting privacy@reynhome.app. When an account is deleted, we remove the associated personal data and uploaded files promptly, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or security reasons.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@reynhome.app. We will respond consistent with applicable law.

Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted transport, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Reyn is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of Reyn after a change means you accept the updated policy.
