Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Reyn. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Reyn helps you store and organize information about a home, upload and parse documents such as inspection reports, and receive maintenance reminders, summaries, and recommendations. Some features use artificial intelligence to read uploaded documents and generate output. You can review how your information is handled in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Upload another person's personal or financial information without authorization.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems; probe or scan for vulnerabilities; or interfere with normal operation.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or use the Service to build a competing product, except as permitted by law.
• Upload malware or use the Service to transmit harmful or unlawful content.

You retain ownership of the documents and information you submit to Reyn ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including sending document text to the AI sub-processors described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important documents.

Reyn is an informational tool. Its content (including AI-generated summaries, inspection-item extractions, valuations, health scores, and recommendations) is provided for general informational purposes only and may be incomplete or inaccurate. It is not professional advice and is not a substitute for a qualified home inspector, contractor, appraiser, attorney, accountant, real-estate professional, or other licensed expert. Always verify important information independently and consult an appropriate professional before making decisions about your property or finances.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REYN AND ITS OPERATORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN OF THESE LIMITATIONS, SO SOME MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reyn and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

If you have a Reyn agent or broker subscription, cancellation and billing are governed by our Agent Terms of Service, which apply in addition to this section.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Washington will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
